About WIC

WIC is a special supplemental food program for pregnant, breastfeeding, and post-partum women, infants, and children under five years of age. WIC helps you and your baby get healthy foods and healthy advice in the first years of life.

The WIC program aims to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care.

Benefits are issued monthly on the WIC card received at an individual's initial WIC appointment.

-A current pay stub less than 60 days old

Project Hercules

Need to reach out? Contact Lisa Wooley, Founder.

About Project Hercules

Project Hercules provides gifts of comfort to any family that suffers the loss of a child at birth.

These bereavement baskets are delivered yearly to NMMC-Women's Hospital and distributed to families throughout the year when the need arises.

Hours of Operation

Yearly campaign
Fall (Sept/Oct/Nov)

Our baskets are made available to every single family that delivers a stillborn baby at the NMMC-Women's hospital.

The social workers at NMMC-Women's Hospital are made aware of the loss of a child at birth, and they meet with that family and provide the basket on our behalf.

How to Get Involved

The community can support through purchases or by sharing our posts on Facebook.

We host a yearly campaign to allow the public to purchase gifts through our Amazon registry.

These gifts are used in the bereavement baskets and delivered on Nov. 20th each year.
